With
the cooler temperatures and the holiday nothing warms you up and satisfies
quite like a cup of hot cocoa. Since
going keto I wanted something that would take the place of one of my favorite
hot drinks and I think this one does the trick quite nicely.
Keto Hot "Cocoa"
1 cup hot coffee
3 Tbs heavy cream
1 packet sweetener
1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp. peppermint extract (optional)
Combine all ingredients into a mug and
stir well to combine. Top with a dollop
of whipped cream if desired.
Carbs 3g (w/ dollop of whipped cream 4g), Fat 17g, Protein 1g
Note: Schnapps in place of extract adds 13 g carbs

think the hot coffee brings out the chocolate flavor a little bit more. I use my battery powered milk frother to
combine it all and make it a little creamier.
It makes a delicious cocoa alternative to enjoy.
Somehow I read your other blog but missed this one. Am so glad I discovered it! Can't wait to try this recipe.
